What we do

Our experience allows us to understand and help our clients overcome barriers to commercialisation for innovation in bioscience technologies and products.

Our work spans the entire product chain from discovery development to successful market entry.

Our clients - companies, individuals, HEIs and public bodies - are in healthcare, biotechnology, medical devices, biomaterials, agricultural resources, animal health, ‘green’ industries and food.

We have a very varied portfolio, underpinned with two elements:

    * bioscience-based product and business development; and

    * tackling and helping overcome barriers to innovation reaching the market.

We put everything together, to make sure you have all the pieces in place

Check out our current work, and also our previous work in the areas of moving innovation forward; matching markets to innovations and vice versa; and managing science and business strategy. Summary profiles and more detailed case studies are available on request via our contact form – please ask.

We are powered by a strong drive to help create links between businesses, researchers and prospects, and to make things happen in our business and technology consultancy space. In our recently completed contract for the UK Technology Strategy Board’s Bioscience for Business KTN (now Biosciences KTN), Meredith Lloyd-Evans established two key Special Interest Groups, one for Marine Bioresources and the other as a joint initiative with the Licensing Executives Society, for Technology Licensing of Renewables. The MBSIG has helped create a buoyant and thriving marine research and business community in the UK, with good international links, and was instrumental in making the Carbon Trust’s Algae Biofuels Challenge a reality. The TLRSIG has continued with support from two other UK KTNs, Energy Generation and Supply and Environmental Sustainability.

In addition to consultancy projects we are also very good at providing advice and at organizing networking events, workshops and seminars.
